Job Summary
The Striping Crew Lead position plays a key role within our company in the Asphalt Division. This requires the ability to estimate size, distances, and quality to perform the job.
Job Responsibilities
- Must be familiar with ADA regulations regarding parking lots.
- Set up, layout, stencils and measuring parking lots in compliance with the work order.
- Review and understand all equipment operations manuals.
- Confer with Project Managers for project assignment.
- Load and Unload 5-gallon buckets of paint from truck.
- Apply paint through the use of mechanical striping machines.
- Assist in job site cleanup.
- Participate in personal and field safety protection activities.
- Navigate to and from work sites.
- Assist in other fieldwork activities.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a valid, unexpired Driver’s License
- Must have the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as length and widths.
- Must have 3-5 years’ experience in parking lot striping and layouts.
- Prefer experience with Graco Auto Layout System
